Balance Workshop: Alexander Technique and Yoga

In this 3 hour workshop, Bett and Steve Bollhoefer team up to offer perspectives from both yoga and Alexander Technique on how to improve both physical and mental balance, how posture impacts your balance and how to improve that posture and balance. Through this workshop you will hone in on postural imbalances in your own body/mind and learn how to "stack the bones" in a way that feels more balanced for walking, sitting standing or moving around-bringing more balance to your everyday life. Alexander Technique benefits people with chronic pain. By learning how to use the body with more awareness, repetitive injuries have a chance to heal and we learn to prevent future injuries. This workshop will be co-lead by Bett Bollhoefer, a certified yoga instructor works with students of all levels and Steve Bollhoefer, a certified Alexander Technique teacher.

*Suitable for all levels How to prepare: Bring a yoga mat, comfortable shoes for a walk, and a journal and pen.
